Jackpot!  This will turn out to be the spot of the day.  I had twenty gophers taking a dirt nap in five minutes.  

Goose cutlets tonight and I plan on plucking at least one whole goose for Christmas dinner.

It was the perfect morning for a mid season goose hunt.  While it turned out to be a dud of a hunt, there is nothing better then waking up before dawn to setup up your decoy spread. 

After failing to harvest a deer my first year I decided to enter into the Saskatchewan big game draw the next year.
